You fake a stomach cramp, and when you're bent over, moaning and wailing, you lick your palms. It's a little childish and stupid, but then so is high school. - Ferris Bueller

Hello, all!
Not sure how many of you are out there, checking in on this website...but, what the hell? Figured I would try.
I’m going to be performing at Sidesplitters Comedy Club on Wednesday, May 21st. It’s a one-night-only show to help promote an upcoming charity auction for Kids and Canines (a Tampa-based Charity Group).
The show is sponsored by Monster Energy Drink, and they'll be at the show, too, with plenty of giveaways and other cool stuff.

Chris is standing inside what will be his new restaurant/jazz club in downtown Maryville, Tennessee. He and a business partner are preparing to open the establishment and hope to serve their first customers at the end of the month. Chris will serve as executive chef. The paper says, "Henderlight is a pivotal part of what will make the restaurant a success." The restaurant will serve everything from Spanish dishes and French dishes to Italian and New Orleans cuisine. “What we’re trying to incorporate is the feeling you get from a jazz bistro,” said Henderlight.
For more information about the new restaurant and upcoming events, visit www.myspace.com/swanksjazz. Read the newspaper article here.

From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Former WCW wrestler Chase Tatum was found dead late Sunday afternoon of an apparent accidental drug overdose, his father said.
Tatum, 34, was recovering from back surgery 10 days earlier to repair a degenerative disc. His father, Roy Tatum of Kennesaw, said his son had been battling a painkiller dependence for years but had made plans to enter a rehabilitation facility in Miami."
I remember Chase from middle school. He was a little but determined kid on the football field. He was also pretty good on a skateboard. After high school I saw him again and he wasn't the little kid from the football field, he was a gigantic wrestler. In the early 90's, he was a bouncer at Pat Hurley's in Buckhead and saved me from getting beat up on more than one occasion. He lived on the edge but was always a good guy. I know he'll be missed by many.
Do you remember Chase?

Randy and Fiona Jackwak had their first baby yesterday - Liv Grace. Since they live in Rome, Liv is a brand new Italian citizen. Now, Randy just needs to learn to speak Italian so he can talk to his wife and daughter. ;-)

Mike Kramer and JJ Findlay (owners of Kramer's in Buckhead) have invited LHS'ers and other former East Cobb snobs out to join in some Christmas festivities. No need for RSVP's or black ties ... just drag yourself out for the night and catch up with the old gang and check out one of the coolest bars in Atlanta. Check out their website, here.
So, mark your calendars, get a babysitter, and let's meet up for a drink or two.
