His father, Roy Tatum of Kennesaw, said his son had been battling a painkiller dependence for years but had made plans to enter a rehabilitation facility in Miami." I remember Chase from middle school. He was a little but determined kid on the football field. He was also pretty good on a skateboard. After high school I saw him again and he wasn't the little kid from the football field, he was a gigantic wrestler. In the early 90's, he was a bouncer at Pat Hurley's in Buckhead and saved me from getting beat up on more than one occasion. He lived on the edge but was always a good guy. I know he'll be missed by many.
